Does anyone have experience with the .58 cal Armi Sport 1861 Springfield. If so what do you think good or bad. Accurate or awful?

They are pretty decent. A bit heavier than an original, but good quality. There is a lot of variation in bore size from gun to gun though, so if you plan on shooting minie balls accurately you will need to measure the bore of that particular gun and use appropriate size minies. That is true of any of the repro rifle muskets though.

Several companies make different size minies, but you can also get sizers to run the minie through to get them to the exact size. The minie should be no more than .002 under bore size, and be made of pure lead.

I've got an older Armi Sport Enfield. Its definitely a shooter with a .577 sized Lyman minie and 65 grains of 2F. Much more powder than that tho will blow the skirt on the minie.
