I received mine and my coin, thought cool. Then, received a letter saying since I didn't return the video, I now am subscribed at X amount of dollars a month to receive more.
I hate this type of marketing, I think it is dishonest. I sent the NRA a note on the return form, saying that this was BS, and since my membership was up for renewal, I was not going to renew if this continued. I was dropped from the roles of the free/(you gotta pay) videos.
I wish the NRA would concentrate more on gun rights and education than fund raising, I would voluntarily donate more money, but when I see my dues go to more fund raising activities, I get a little peeved.
