Are 7.62x51 PSD (Korean) primers corrosive?

Although I don't have any yet, the ammo is labeled M80 etc.
If it was produced in the last twenty or so years, it must not be corrosive.

Also, was this ammo produced with Berdan or Boxer primers?

I dont know about that particular ammo but i always treat all surplus ammo as corrosive. Just clean the gun after use and no worries.

PSD = Poongsan Metal Manufacturing Company Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea (probably at the Dongrae Ammunition Plant)

Still haven't found if it's corrosive.

Also found this:

Consensus seems to be the PMJ is another headstamp used be Poongsan Metal Corp. (PMC) of Korea on their recent U.S. military contracts. They also used the headstamp PSD on some of their recent U.S.G.I. ammo.

If it's US military contract, I would say it's not corrosive.

All the PSD I've reloaded/seen was boxer primed.
I have alot of it, but only a handful are 7.62 x 51
Mostly .556, but it seems like nice brass, I like using it.

Korean 30-06 military ammo headstamped KA is corrosive. PS is non-corrosive. Most of their ammo making equipment and technology is from the US.

I read about how to test it years ago. If you google it you may be able to find it. Summary is, pull the round and fire it against a piece of raw metal so the primer "blasts" the metal. You can quickly see if it's corrosive or not that way and will know for yourself, which is good peace of mind.
