I recently purchased a Bushmaster Shorty A3, and I'm having trouble removing the buttstock from the receiver. Anybody have a good method? Someone mentioned a grip vise...
To remove the buttstock, you need only remove the top screw of the buttplate. The buttstock should slip right off the lower receiver extension (buffer guide tube).
Gary's right, thats all there is. Are you having trouble getting the screw loose? The GI screws have a bit of thread locker on them, but they will come loose.
