AR-15 10 round mag dimensional question

Not much, even though I live in a ban state I don't own any since I have a whole bunch of pre-ban 30rd mags. If given the option I would choose a blocked 20rd mag just for the ease of handling.

In Service Rifle the 20-round mag does not get in the way of the sling, but I built a no-more-excuses Match Rifle and in prone, the match sling and the 20 round mag argue over space. Maybe it is the adjustable handstop, I don't know.
Anyway it sure looks like 10-round mags will alleviate the problem. As far as I can tell the 10s and 5s are the same external size - in MR they load 5 & 5 instead of 2 & 8 for sitting and prone rapid.
