AR 0.50 threads on SAR-1 AK: muzzle brakes--

Is there an effective, mod.cost AR brake which goes on a r.h. threaded muzzle for .5x28?

It must allow a standard 7.62x39 bullet to pass through.
I've never had any sort of brake on any of my gun and nothing about them.

A nice guy still selling a very popular 'AK brake' on Armslist TN tried to fit it on my rifle.
In my opinion the only slight drawback of my AKs is the muzzle rise.

1/2x28 threads on a 7.62 doesn't leave much meat on the muzzle. Another option would be an adapter from 1/2x28 to 5/8x24(common .30 muzzle thread). I saw one on e-bay that doesn't have wrench flats so most likely wouldn't show beyond the muzzle device.

Thanks.

My calipers measured the muzzle diameter at three indexes smaller than 0.50".
Either .03 or .003 smaller.

precision_shooter: Do you remember the approx. (lower) price for the brake which fits a Blackout, if the moderate-priced brake is pretty effective?

Trying to remember where I saw it...
Doing some googling but not having much luck. It's been months since I saw it and now can't remember where.

Sorry can't find what I had seen a few months back.
But a 9mm bore break threaded 1/2x28 are out there. Just google 1/2x28 9mm brake and you should come up with quite a few options. Spikes Tactical has one as well as a few others.
