I recently put a Millet DMS-1 on my AR-15. I like it for that platform.
I started wondering though how the DMS-1 would work on a bolt action hunting rig. Maybe a 20" light rifle in say 7mm-08 or .308? Kinda thinking forward to another hunting rig sometime in the near future and wondering about this as a potential setup.
Anyone done this before?
Off the top of my head it seems that it would be quick on target due to the reticle setup of the DMS, but the downside is that it may be a little heavier than some other optics.
