Anyone familiar with Winslow Arms?

I was offered a Winslow Arms 22-250 by an aquaintance. It kind of looks like a Weatherby Mark V on steroids. Its stock is a little over the top for me so I am going to pass.

However, I had not heard of this gunmaker before. About all I can figure out is that Winslow Arms is (was?) in South Carolina.

Is anyone familiar? Details? Thanks.

Weatherby on Steroids is correct. Very exaggerated stock design. Made in the middle-60s.

I would guess very collectible. Like an MAB Gyrojet pistol. They were very expensive per 1967 Gun Digest. Kind of like Cadillac rocket tail-fins and fastback mustangs, part of an era never to be repeated. Don't recall the actions or barrels, but pretty sure they were upscale from the Weatherby.

Probably not very "user friendly" unless the stock fits you perfect, but very cool and far-out, man... What collector would be without one?
