Anyone ever had a trigger job done on a Taurus 24/7?

i've got a Taurus 24/7 in .45 that i like just fine, except for the trigger. anyone know if there's a drop-in job possible here, or would i have to send it to a smith? the gun's been plenty reliable, and if i could get a decent trigger on it, i'd like to keep it. thanks for your input

Of the 50 or so guns I have owned my Taurus 24/7 Pro Ds has one of the smoothest triggers. In single action trigger pull is in the 2-2.5 lb range.Take up is extraordinary long, but easy to get aclimated to,trigger reset is short, not much over 1/8". Only my Cimarron SAA clone which comes with a trigger job from Cimarron is lighter.Pic is S/A trigger , note only about 1/8"remains to release the striker, reset occurs a few thousandths out from the pic, makes double taps a snap.
