Today I got a Mauser .22 single shot rifle in a trade. My web searches were less than enlightening... Anyway it looks like an ES340N that I saw for sale but mine doesn't seem to have a model number.
The serial number is on the barrel and receiver and it says Mauser-Werk Obendorf AN on one side of the receiver. One side of the barrel is stamped DRPDRGM and on the other side is (in German) Cartridge .22 Long Rifle.
I'm guessing it's around 6 or 7 pounds and I'm also guessing from the weight it's a target rifle.
There are a couple condition issues. There's a crack through the pistol grip and 2 screws there to reinforce it. It also seems to be missing part of the rear sight. It only has a flip up ghost ring with no adjustment and I'm guessing it should have a ladder type rear sight...
I'd welcome any info you guys could provide.
