Any thoughts on the Beretta 948?

I haven't seen the gun myself yet, this picture is all I got so far.

Is this a tip up? Google didn't give me a definitive answer on that.
Is this a fun gun to shoot? It looks like it would be fun for short range plinking.
About what do these go for? Gunbroker was all over the place on price.

Nope, it isn't a tip-up barrel,,,
There's no hinge point.

Thanks Aaron. I read that article last night. Perhaps in reading I got confused with the Model 21.

The 948 is a fun gun, well made, and reliable. Mags are getting hard to find. The swinging safety/slide release is a little dated and can be awkward. I've got one in .22lr, which is a blast. The sights are also old time and dated but usable. Similar Berettas are the 1935 model and newer Puma 70 series. Good luck in your hunt.
