I have a bulg. mak with the plastic grip and thumb rest , I am a lefty so the thumb rest wont work for me. Does the w. german grips have the thumb rest and are they thin for ccw
Well, thin is good for carry, so the EG grips should be just the ticket for your Mak. I tried one of the red Russian grips on my EG Mak, it was tight, but it seemed to fit...
On my E.German Mak, I replaced the redish bakelite grip, that has a thumbshelf and star, with a black version that does not have either. I'm not entirely sure, but judging by the grip screw, I'll say the black one is also E. German.
