Any of you riflemen shot a Mossberg MVP Varmint in .308 yet ???

as my quest for one of the last spaces on the wall for a bolt rifle goes forward, I ran across the MVP Varmint in .308... I'm really liking the looks of it, bench rest laminate stock, medium heavy 24" barrel...

curious if these are shooting like a winner, or just "look" like one???

My Mossberg 100ATR 22" SS 30-06 shoots right at 1.5" groups @ 100yds with any factory load I feed it. My handloads do 3/4" consistently. For the $317 OTD I paid I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Mossberg rifle.

I've never shot the MVP but I've seen favorable things about them and if the MVP shoots like my 100ATR does you'll be happy.

this is a new rifle this year, but this is exactly what I was looking for, when I was thinking about a .308

From what I hear, yes they are. Mine's a Flex in 5.56 and could not be happier.
