I found a Mossberg 800 BM today. The "B" is for the .243 Win designation, the "M" is for Mannlicher. It has the full Mannlicher stock in walnut. I wanted .243 for varmint and possibly deer with heavier loads. it appears to have less than a box or two through it. has some minor dings and scratches, but the bluing is near perfect and the bore and action are super smooth and tight. I know the standard versions of these sell for under $300 generally, but I can't find any examples of a Mannlicher stocked one. A couple of online quotes from collectors say the Mannlichers demand a bit more than the regular stocked versions, but no pricing. I guess I'm more concerned with problems than value, but if anyone has any idea of value, I'd like to know, I dont have any books with it in it. I've read a few quotes on them as being alot better than their prices indicate also, but wondering if anyone has had any problems with this model?
