I'm checking on purchasing an older model #10, Smith, supposed to be in prime condition. Could anyone please post a pic of what they look like. This is the short barrel, I guess these are not really J-frames right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, any ideas of price range. Thanks much.

"...not really J-frames right..." They're 'K' frames. The Smith M10 is the classic fixed sight, .38 revolver, usually with a 4" barrel, used by police departments for eons before they all went to semi-autos. they came with more than just 4" barrels though. Two and 4" being the most common. S&W still makes a 4" Model 10. A net search for it will get you all kinds of pictures. Here's the current M10 from S&W.

Here's a picture of an older 5 screw K-frame, better known as a model 10 WW-2 Victory model.
