Any experience with the Taurus 24-7 compact 9mm?

I have a chance to buy a like new 24-7 compact 9mm. A friend bought it NIB about a month ago. He has fired 50 rounds through it. I can buy it for about $250

Anyone know of any problems with these?

i have never fired one but from what i understand, they are a big improvment over the PT lines or the millenium, im not sure which. I think it may have one handgun of the year at some point. as you can see my info is spotty at best....I just recall reading alot of good things. Run a search on this forum, i think you'll find alot of positve remarks compared to some of there other autos. 250 dosent sound like a bad price at all, since y'all are friends shoot it before you buy it.

I retired about 6 months ago and I gave up my FFL. But during all of my years in business I only had problems out of one type Taurus pistol. The little P-22 and the P-25 had problems with the slides breaking.
