Any experience adjusting Safariland holsters?

Hey everyone, I got myself a Safariland 7TS with the ALS system (thumb button) to see what a duty holster would look/feel like. I'd like to make the paddle (or belt slide attachment) ride higher just to experiment but when I unscrew the hex head screws, there remain the embedded nuts that are anchored with teeth. It's like the female end of a Chicago screw but with teeth that seem sunk down into the plastic.

Do i just force them out with pressure? I'm trying to avoid breaking anything.

So far it seems sturdy but less than concealable unless I get this to ride tighter to me and higher. It's made for a P226R with a light (difficult to conceal anyways).

NO. Ride height is not adjustable via those screws. Safariland offers a couple of different heights via the belt attachment for duty holsters.

The back of the 7TS holster body has multiple unuses sets of holes, in the same pattern: one set high up and the other down low. It very well could be that the anchored screws have to be set at the factory, it just looks like it could also be user adjustable so that’s why I’m a bit confused.
