We are rapidly loosing "The Greatest Generation". A WWII Marine Vet on my aquaintance has just passed on to his reward. I did not know him well, but I knew him to be very intellegent, an avid reader, tough as nails and I respected him greatly. His last few years have been tough, but he was a Marine through it all.
