Another "Gun 4 My Wife" thread

Ok, my wife took a concealed carry license class with me, and is considering carrying. She has fired a limited number of guns (as have I) and is somewhat put off by them all. She shot my Hi-point C9 (I know, not the best example), my friends Millennium .45, and rented at a range a S&W snubby .38. The .38 had such a stiff trigger action, she couldn't even fire it. I want her to try my new Mil Pro 9mm, but haven't been able to get her back to the range yet. I've been considering maybe a .22 like a Walther or something similar. I know .22 is a small round and many people would say there wasn't any point, but is .22 better than nothing? Do they even make hollow points in it? Some advice would be much appreciated.
