Which has the widest meplat? Any difference in the taper of their first cutting shoulders behind the noses of the bullets?

AFAIK, there's Remington, Winchester, and Federal(other than Nyclad). Any I'm missing?

Hello, sir. So far as I know that's the main three. I'm not sure if Corbon still offers their version of it. The Remington has a wider hollow in it than the Winchester, but I've not compared it to any Federal.

Best.

Of the ones I have at the moment ... Remington, Winchester and the Federal Nyclad ... the Remington is the widest, and the Winchester is the narrowest.

Unfortunately, I think the Cor Bon folks did away with their 158gr LHP +P+ round. Too bad, too, as it was the closest thing we could get to the 158gr +P+ load the RCMP had produced for their revolvers. That's the only Cor Bon load I'd buy today ... and then test for signs of excessive pressure ...
