Just swapped for a nice (96-98%) old alloy-framed Nomad with the 6 3/4" barrel. Since I plan to actually use it as a plinking and field pistol, I'd like to put a sturdier grip on it than the factory plastic one, which seems like it might turn out to be fairly fragile to me.
Prefer not to have to spend as much or wait the 6-8 months it'd likely take to have Herrett's make me one. I probably will if there isn't another alternative; just trying to see if there might not be other workable options out there that I don't know about.
