Yea - That's my "universal" Elk and Antelope load. I'd use it for Deer, too, if I ever hunted them.Frankenmauser, is this your "go to" deer and antelope loading? I need to move up to heavier bullets and test to see if my rifle likes them as well as the 130 grain pills. Thanks for your input, I will try it for sure.
I was about to point out that I'm using a 140, not a 150, but Nosler's data is the same for both bullets. So, the same starting load applies.Thanks again Frankenmauser, 150 grain .277 pill leaving the barrel at 2,790 is plenty fast enough for my intentions. I will start testing this loading as soon as I pick up some bullets.
