“The trademark has not been registered within the U.S. and, because of U.S. sanctions on Russia, the trademark registration in the United States is currently impossible. Therefore, the company cannot prevent the sales of Kalashnikov rifles in the U.S.,” said the representative.

We are very excited to debut the new Kalashnikov USA products. Since the imposition of sanctions against Concern Kalashnikov in Russia on July 16, 2014, we are working to transform our company and staff from an importer and 922(r) compliant conversion specialist, to a full-fledged manufacturer. We are very proud of the results shown in the following pages and we hope you will appreciate our efforts.

They do have some interesting designs coming out. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the 9mm and 12ga AKs that they have.

I certainly want to look them over, I had an AK (FEG SA 85 M), it was nicer than any other makes I've seen, some say that it is the finest of the Kalashnikov series. For those not familiar with the AK, be advised of two characteristics which I dislike, first is that the AK does not have much of a mag well and can be difficult to load, much like an M14/M1A, Mini 14 and some others. Second, there is no last shot hold open or any 'Real' bolt catch. I could get my FEG bolt to stay open if I eased it forward but then the slightest bump would release it. Other than those two items I liked the gun.

A Moderator at THR told me that there is no connection between that US comany and the Russian company.

You guys also might already know that Century Arms is not just assembling AK-47 Clone parts kits, but is actually Manufacturing (or subcontracting) their own US-made AK-47 Clone for a high market price.

USMC 77-81: This Century gun might have the BHO feature. An owner displays the rifle on Youtube. Trying to shake a bit of a cold, can't remember.
