Airgun shipping question

I don't recall this ever being discussed before, but can an airgun (pellet, rifle or pistol, not softair) be shipped directly, or must it be through FFLs? I'm thinking of selling a couple of mine and wondered if anyone had any insight. Thanks.

No shipping regulation on air guns I don't think. For my B-day last year Karen bought me a always wanted since I was a kid a Sheridan 20 cal. 5MM pump pellet pistol. to go with the Blue Streak I have had since the 60's. We bought it with a card online and it was shipped to our door. I can't recall if it was UPS or USPS no matter I guess.

Bought a pump Crossman pistol when I was 12 but it was wore out and sold to another kid 40 years ago. His mom woudn't let him have one so he hid it outside, hadn't thought of that in a long time.

The USPS will not let an American Commoner mail an air pistol. It meets THEIR definition of "handgun."
