AIMTECH 1911 AUTO GRIP SCOPE MOUNT
Lightweight, "Right Side" Scope Mount
Replaces the grip on the right side of Colt-Style semi-auto frame so it can't interfere with thumb safety operation. "Quad Lock" installation system securely attaches the mount to the frame at four points. Accepts Weaver-style rings. No drilling or tapping.
SPECS: Black-anodized, extruded aluminum. Approx. 51/2" long, 6" (15.2cm) high. Includes mounting pins and instructions. Cannot be used with ambi safety or ambi slide release.

Has anyone tried this scope mount? Looks like a slick no-gunsmith setup. Attaches to the right side, wouldn't ejected cases hit it? All the other grip mounts I've seen mount to the left side, which is great for ejection, but the mount can interfere with the operation of the hammer safety and slide release. -- Kernel
