Aimpoint, Eotech, or Cmore

What would you guys pick for an AR? I have a Bushmaster 16" collapsible

stock flat top that I'd like to put an optic on. My uses are: back up to the

SG for HD, general fun/range work, maybe some 3 gun matches (won't win,

but don't want to finish last either). Practical range 0 to 350 meters, under

$400 installed, durable for normal civialian use, reasonable battery life.

What are the advantages / disadvatages of these? The Aimpoint would

be the most expensive (and would require a seperate mount), but would be

the most durable. The Eotech seems to be really popular these days so I

would imagine it is durable (have seen pictures of there use in Iraq). What about

the Cmore? It seems to be the cheapest and it was all the rage a few years

ago but I haven't heard much about them lately? Has the Eotech rshadowed

it, and if so why?

Is there any others (within this price range) that I should be

considering?

The Aimpoint and the Eotech are both seeing a lot of use in the Sandbox.
In my opinion, both are combat rugged.
The Eotech is easier/cheaper to mount, and use with your back up iron sights.
(BUIS)

I went with the Eotech that takes AA batteries.
If I had it to do over, I might have gone with the smaller version.
The AA has longer battery life.

For overall battery life, the Aimpoint wins.
If you go with Aimpoint, you'll have a hard time staying under $400 by the time you buy a mount.

Can't speak about Cmore, but I don't think it's in the same class as the other two.

Realistically, for the use that most of us civilians will put it too, any optic for <$100 would do fine.
But, if you're like me, I wanted something that would hold up to anything I could possibly put it through.

I prefer the Trijicon Reflex 2. by a large margin. No batteries to screw around with, and IMHO, a much better and faster sight picture.

I have looked (drooled) over trijicon's sights, but they are out of my price

range, unless I don't want any ammo for a couple of years. :(

I can't really go much above $300 and still be able to afford to shoot.
