I thought it was a Recon... but strange as it had a muzzle brake, weird grip, offset Buis, and the charging handle had a flapper thing on one side. Real good condition, not a scratch on it. Even the 30 round mag didn't look used.

And I know my ARs as I've had several, shot even more, but been down to one, just a simple Bushie M4 with fixed carrying handle (but it shoots well and never jams and that's why I've kept it.)

But I figured a Recon for $500, plus tax, would still be a good deal, especially with that cool Magpul stock, a spookie good trigger, and it came with the case.

So I slapped lay-away.... then went home to google.

Durn thing turns out to be a 3G2!

Ok... I'll take it. Might even go to a 3 gun match (I used to shoot in them.)

Ok. Got the rifle. Zero wear. Bolt still had factory oil/greese. Magpull stock with battery compartment (and a magpull dummy round in it), Mbuis sights that are offset, and yes a NICE single stage trigger. I'll shoot it tomorrow along with my old Bushmaster M4.

Just to edit, the scope I'm using, I bought 15 years ago, is a AR-15 4x Huskemaw

Looks just like a old Colt scope. Made in Japan.
