aftermarket AR trigger compatibility

I must have read reviews of two-dozen different AR triggers, from massaged G.I., to upgraded components, to drop-in "cassettes", and I've never seen any reviews address the compatibility with commercial Colts that have non-standard pins(?), and extra material in the lower to prevent installation of full-auto parts; will trigger kits fit Colt ARs?
Am I limited to parts that will ride on the factory pins?

There were, at one time, conversion pins to use small pin parts in a large pin lower... no idea if anyone still makes them. Some after market triggers were available in both small and large pin configurations.

Geissele makes a large Colt pin trigger assembly.

I have one in my Match Target. I paid $250 if I remember correctly.

Quite few triggers are made for Large trigger pin Colts...

Be aware... some need the silly Colt block removed... send it off to Adco for that.

Trust me, cutting mine out was a PITA.
