so I'm looking at the sightron II big sky http://www.sightron.com/index.php?action=view_document&did=1201816362&cat_id=15&id=30 and it is advertised as having 80 moa

then I was looking at the Meopta 4-16 x 44 AO and it is advertised as having 42moa of windage/elevation
http://www.meoptasportsoptics.com/prod.php?prod=307&nav1=2&nav2=3

I thought it was odd that it would only have half the adjustment as the sightron, and I came across this review of the SIII in which the stated adjustment is 50moa http://www.snipercentral.com/s3sightron.htm.
The manufacturer webpage shows this particular model as having 100 moa of adjustment http://www.sightron.com/index.php?action=view_document&did=1201816362&cat_id=6&id=4.

So what I am thinking is that sightron advertises the adjustment range from topped out to bottomed out, and the review is discussing it in terms from center to top and center to bottom (since their values are half of the product page)

I am thinking that the Meopta is showing values from center, as in 42 up and 42 down? Do you think that is correct? I can't see it having literally half the adjustment range.

I'm pretty sure that the Meopta only has 42 moa total adjustment bottom-top. Most scopes don't have that much adjustment atleast higher magnification scopes. I have a Sightron SIII,and the main reason I got it was for the range of adjustment-100 moa,and it also has good glass.
Leupold 6.5-20x50LRT scopes have 97 moa adjustment, but a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x50 only has 45 moa elevation/28 moa windage.
