A new shottie

High Standard Flite King 18-1/8" Riot Gun Here it is with my Remington 870 with a 27" ribbed barrel for comparison.

I shot it yesterday - more for function then marksmanship. Here's the target; 12 yards. I used 7-1/2 bird shot and 00 buck shot. I think that may drop down to #4 shot for home defense; but at 12 yards the 00 did not open up - pretty impressive hole though!

is this the one that says Riot Gun on it? if it is, my dad has one exactly like it. last time i shot it, Riot Gun was the only thing i could really find on it to tell me what it was. that was years ago though.
