A new pistol for me

Just ordered me a new S&W M&P 9mm Pro Series C.O.R.E (Competition Optic Ready Equipment) Performance Center pistol w/ 4.25" barrel.

Comes with two 17 rnd. magazines and the slide is milled to accept a MRDS.

Now I have to find a MRDS and a hloster.

Anyone with experience?

Trijicon RMR is the Rolls-Royce if MRDS. If that us too rich go with the JPoint or Leupold Deltapoint. Entry level would be the Burris Fastfire.

My brother just picked up a 5" core 9mm. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet, but I'm curious about it (aka eyeing one up for myself).

You are going to love that gun. Are you going to get it the red dot sight?

Thanks. Yep, I'm going to install a Trijicon RMR. I'm leaning toward the 12.9 MOA amber triangle.

Just ordered a Trijicon RMR #RM05 9MOA amber dot sight for my new M&P CORE.

You know that feeling when you order something and you can't wait till it gets there already? I have that feeling vicariously through you. Lol can't wait till it gets there.

Are you going to install it yourself or are you taking it to a gunsmith?

Pics whenever you can would be awesome.

The S&W comes with five different adapter plates that accomodate six different red dot sights and installation couldn't be simpler.

Looks good :)

I'm doing something similar with a glock 17, I ordered a Raven concealment holster for mine.
