A little help please

Ok guys just given my great grandfathers Mossberg Model 42S. The thing is I cannot find any information on the model 42S. I cannot even find it in the old Mossberg catalogs. Does anyone have any info on these? I dont have a digi cam right now so no pics I really am not looking for what its worth im mainly looking for when it was produced and if the regular 7 round model 42 mag fits it seeing as they were lost 50 years ago.

not really

I came across these about a year back the funny thing is the only reference to the type S is that bolt and recieve pic. That is literaly the only trace I can find of the 42S. I sent an email to the mossberg collectors soc. and i hope to be hearing from them soon.
