90-two recoil spring

I was wondering if the recoil spring and guide rod from a standard 92 will fit in the 90-two? It is not easy to find a replacement captive spring for the 90-two, but everyone has a 92 guide rod/spring. Thank you for the help.

That's the only forum I can think of that might have a person or two who's tried it.

My personal guess? (remember this is a GUESS). It'll almost certainly fit, and may function "well enough", but I doubt it'll function truly correctly - if for no other reason the slide on the 90-twos are heavier.

Thank you for the advice on the Beretta forum. 5 minutes of searching answered the question with a yes. So easy a caveman could do it
