Hey, just thought I would relate some preliminary testing results. This is out of an AR with a 20in Ballistic advantage barrel.

Starline brass
CCI 450 Small rifle magnum primers
Ramshot Tac
75g V-max
10 shots fired per group
30.5g (max) avg 3069fps, es 51, sd 19 (cratered primers ejector marks, no good)
30.2g avg 3024fps, es 42, sd 12 (no more cratered primers or ejecor marks)
30.0g avg 3013fps, es 54, sd 19
29.8g no data, operator error in relation to the recording of data
29.6g avg 2964fps, es 80, sd 25
29.4g avg 2958, es 35, sd 13 (only 8rnds recorded of the 10 fired)

Over all I have not been thrilled with these results. Trying to decide where to go from here.

Was debating on trying 29.2g in the hopes es/sd would drop down more from where 29.4 was.

considering just calling it quits at 29.4 and doing some seating depth testing, see what kind of groups i can get.

Last option is a change up. Don't really have any other good powder options and I don't want to get into new powders. So I would need to ditch the 75g and go to the 87g v-max and use the powders I have and are already working better with the heavier bullets.

For reference, hornady factory loaded ammo

Eldm match ammo 108g
Avg 2570 es 83 sd 23

Black, 105g otm
Avg 2613, es 39, sd 12
