629 question

Hi everyone,

I was cleaning my 629, just a little oil on the outside to keep it happy. While doing this I noticed a small "pin" hole under the front sight. I am tring to remember if there was a pin in there at one time or has it always been empty?
Could some one check out their 629 and let me know?

If you have a two piece front sight, and the hole is from left to right, it should have a pin in it to hold the front sight blade on.
