The bad thing was I think it was somebody else's gun he was shooting. He didn't even ding up his own gun.

i have seen that its actually a pistol chambered in would u believe a 600 nitro its a safari elephant round. too crazy!!!!

How much of the potential velocity you think you loose on that round in a pistol? 70-80%

Probably not as much as you'd think. Heavy bullets don't seem to lose as much velocity when fired from short barrels as their lightweight counterparts and at 900grn I think a .600 Nitro certainly qualifies as a heavy bullet.
