45 Colt, 8.5 grains of Unique, from my 7 1/2" Ruger, fired into a pretty much unmovable steel plate at 50 yards. These were cast from straight, air cooled wheel weights. Bullet weighs 'bout 262 grains.

Impressive! Nice looking bullets.

Couldn't have said it better.

He has always impressed me with his artful casting, especailly with the "Keith's".

On a side note, I have the disk out of a 20" butterfly valve we trashed at work. It was cast SS and I simply couldn't let it just go to the scrap yard. My first test to see if it would hold up or not used my 7mm STW at 100yds. I figured if it held up to that it should be fine for handgun loads. All I found was a shiny spot where the bullet splattered. Since then I have set it up at around 30yds and use it for fouling rounds and such when working up loads. It makes nice thin wafers like you have there out of my Lee 452-300's out of the 454, well actually they are a bit thinner.....;)
