.45 ACP and Alliant Promo?

I generally use Unique for my .45 loads. I have a fair bit of Promo on hand for 12 ga trap loads. Since shotgun powder is generally pretty good for .45s......

I understand that it's pretty similar to Red Dot. Anybody have any load data for Promo in the .45 ACP? Otherwise I suppose I could just back off the Red Dot data and work up.

I use Promo Powder for everything from 380 acp to 45 LC. I buy it by the 8 pound jug. I called Alliant, more than once, and have asked them if it is good to use in hangun loadings. Their answer was perfectly OK to use, just use Red Dot loading info. Hope this helps.
