Anyone here reload for the .44 Colt. I'm thinking about getting a Cimarron R-M conversion and wanted to go with the .44 to keep it a bit more historically correct. It seems that .44 is easier to find these days than .45 and a bit less expensive.
I have a can of Pyrodex P and was thinking I could reload with that until I can get some real Black.
The info about the cartridge that I've been able to find is pretty limited. Can anyone enlighten me?
