.410 on trap?

Just curious, anyone here use a .410 for trap? I know some use it for skeet...but what about trap? It kind of sounds like fun to me, and if it is really feasible I might get one (of *course* the Mossberg 500!).

Years ago my father and I would ocassioanly break out the .410's for some diversion. For serious shooting I would not recommend one. But for the fun factor they are hard to beat.

I occasionally shoot my 28 ga at trap, lots of fun and good practice for sporting clays. But the hardcore Trapshooters won't shoot on the same squad with me?

Maybe it's because I shoot low gun and use both barrels, figure if I hit 21 out of 25 I am doing ok.

Using a 410 would be fun, as long as you are not obsessed with hits. would make you a better shotgunner as the 410 is definitely an experts gun.
