I know it's a rifle----but it does use a "pistol" cartridge and I'm not getting any help over on the rifle side.
I have a Ruger PC4 carbine in .40 S & W on lay-a-way and would like to know what kind of muzzle velocity and energy I can expect from the rifle barrel (16 1/4 in). Assuming I'm using the standard 180 gn. load. Or would I be better off using a lighter bullet?
