I just had a 338 barrel made from lilja and need an action to put it on any suggestions? I have access to a rem mod 700.
338 RUM, What Action?

I don't understand what the problem is. What is wrong with the Model 700 action? Why would you buy another action if you already have one?
Controlled Round Feed?
My only thought would be that if you plan to use this rifle to hunt dangerous game (bear, bison, etc), you may want to use a Mauser-type action with controlled round feed and a claw extractor - prevents short-stroking the bolt and jamming the rifle at the wrong moment?
