308 Brass Into 6.5 Creedmoore

Anyone made 308 brass into 6.5 Creedmoore? I read you neck size 308 brass then trim to 1.910 Creedmoore length size in Creedmoore die with expander out the resize with it in? I tried near impossible to resize again with expander in? Anyone tried this? I have Creedmoore brass just have lots 308 thought it might be something worth doing

I don't know if it's possible or not (probably with annealing) but the 6.5CM is not based on the .308 case and probably isn't worth the effort.

I think you'll do better starting with 250 Savage brass and even better to use 250AI, since I think the Creedmore is basically a 6.5-250AI.

I got some made will have to turn necks see how they turn out. What I have been told 243 crushes shoulder pretty bad. I ran these thru 243 die to make it easier to do after resizing without expander in the 6.5 die. See what happens pretty big pain wouldn't want to do very many for sure.
