I was looking for the load data for 130gr Barnes ttsx bt and irm4895 powder. loading for rem 700p 26in 1-12 twist. Googled the heck out of it and cant find that specific combo. Closest I found on the Barnes site was 130 gr xbt @min 42.5 gr imr4895 = 2814fps, or max 46.5gr imr4895 = 3079fps. any suggestion's where else to look. Tried imr site, they don't list barns bullets. Is imr 4895 not compatible with this bullet? Also cant find the col for this round. Any one had any experience with barns copper bullets? Any good?

Ok... Called barns 800# and got load data of 46.5gr min to 50.5gr max / imr4895. COL is 2810. seems kind of hot on the max. They say not to crimp on the OD of bullet.

I used the Hodgdon 4895 a few years back when the now oldest grandson was growing into shooting my little Ruger Compact. I had initally started out with the reduced loads but had worked them up into the middle of the load range with the 130's. THey are a snappy little pill and hold up to critters pretty well.

While I never got to the top end loads I still wouldn't get the same velocities as you should with your longer barrel. I can say this though they shot really well even only running around 24-2500fps in the loads we used. For medium sized game you should do well with them.

Loaded and shot at 2 different powder charges, 42.7gr imr4895 and 46.1gr. Both shot great at 200m. Much flatter than I expected. :)
