30-30 AI question

I'm really considering a T/C Contender with a 24" barrel chambered for 30-30 AI. Does anyone have experience with muzzle velocities of 150, 165, & 180 grn Ballistic Tips?

No clue on bullets that heavy, but did have a friend that would get 2700 fps from his Contender pistol with 14" barrels and 125 grain BT. Best bet would be to go over to Specialty Pistols forum, lot of Contender and Encore nuts over there that have a lot of experience with all versions of T/C single shots. I'd love to have a .30-30 AI to play with myself.
