3-D blue ammunition

I recently bought a box of 3-D Blue ammunition in .44 special.

It seemed a little hot, but it's been a long time since I shot a .44 of any kind.

The 3-D ammo shot well, very accurate, but very dirty. Filthy, actually.

Anyone know much about 3-D Blue ammunition? I can't find much on the 'net.

It's my favorite reloading brass. Wish i had more of it [hint hint]

Impact 3-D ammo was sold to many gun shops with indoor ranges. The blue box ammo is new and the red box ammo uses reloaded casings and are usually loaded with lead bullets.

I think Impact 3-D went out of business sometime around 2000-'01. How much ya wanna bet they'd have more business than they could handle now-a-days...
