Cool8&3/8" is a nice bbl. Blue and grips look almost new. But wich version 29, 29-1, 29-2, 29-3?

Very nice! I've always like the look of the 8 3/8" N-Frame in both Model 29 and Model 27. I have the 27.

my favorite 29-2 six and a half inch barrel in case, serial number N63xxx. i don,t shoot it much any more. it,s in ex condition. eastbank.

Have you shot it much yet?

The checkered grip rubbed my fingers raw with magnum ammo, and the sideplate screws loosened up, even with blue Loctite.

It was ULTRA accurate. I could regularly shoot sub 3" groups with it at 25 yards, and I'm not that good of a shot.

My one and only S/W. It's also my only .44 Mag and if I have anything to say about it, it won't be my last. But that's got to be approved by the boss, the wife that is. Not a super picture but what can you expect from a camera phone.

Very nice, I had a 629 6" when I was stationed in Las Vegas it was a lot more accurate than I was! Same thing happened to me with the grips, I couldn't shoot magnums with out gloves on. I finally changed out the grips for a set of pachmayr finger groove, made it much more user friendly!
