COL is important

Try to maintain as long a COL as you can. The bullet will need to to be seated long enough to grip the neck but I would try to seat it out as far as you can to get close to the rifling. Make sure it fits in the magazine. A good starting point is to match the factory COL with maybe a 80gr bullet. The other way you can go is check a Loading manual and see what it says for that bullet or one similar to it. My book does not have the 62gr barnes but it has one for the 60gr Serria HP and COL is 2.550". I would think that would be a good start point and work your way up to maybe 2.650"..............Sam
