22 PPC

I was thinking about this, as it's the same case as the Grendel. Looks like a sizeable increase over the 5.56 with 55s. Haven't seen much availability.

I like the .22 PPC, but I like the .224 Valkyrie better simply because it's a semi auto and brass for the valk is dirt cheap.

I like the 22PPC and still have one after 25 years of use The 223 Ackley is also vey good and uses cheaper brass.

If I were going to have a 22PPC--I'd pay the extra bucks to build a match grade bench rifle--like the 6mmPPC I don't see the sense in having one without "going all the way."

The 6mm PPC is better for accuracy because so many folks just know it. That said, you are on a slippery slope to poverty once you get into the PPC’s!

I used my Sako 22PPC as my primary woodchuck rifle. It excelled in that role. Scoped the weight was 8.5 pounds, good for all afternoon carry and walking around.
