22/45 mag disconnect

I got the Tandemkross bushing in the mail today to allow me to remove the mag disconnect out of my 22/45

10 min and it works GREAT. Mags drop free just like they should.

I'm with you, that bushing change really made a great difference in how my 22-45 and I got along.

Yup---the bushing change is a must do for any new Ruger pistol

I have a spare bushing in the drawer just waiting for the next new pistol--even though I don't have any current plans for another one---yet

I put it in mine too and oh boy what a difference. Much better trigger, mags drop freely and no more profanity during take down and reassembly. Best mod for the 22/45 ever.

I did mine the other day. I also installed a volquartson sear while I had it apart. The sear changed the trigger drastically. It feels to be around 2.5lbs. and it breaks clean now. They have them at rimfire sports for $26 and free shipping.
